Use the Dashboard

The Dashboard is the fastest place to check whether your business is selling and whether recent activity looks normal. It is useful for daily monitoring, launch checks, and quick stakeholder updates, but it is not a substitute for Financial Overview, Campaigns, Sales, or Finance.

Use this guide when you need a quick health check after launch, during a campaign, or after changing checkout links or pricing.

What the Dashboard shows

AreaPurpose
Sales todayQuick view of current-day purchase activity.
Sales yesterdaySimple comparison point for short-term trend checks.
Balance cardsHigh-level view of available, pending, and total balance when finance access allows.
Recent purchasesFast way to spot new approvals, declines, or missing activity.
Sales chartVisual snapshot of recent performance over time.

The Dashboard answers "is something happening right now?" better than it answers "why is my withdrawable balance different from revenue?"

Best practices

  • Use Dashboard for monitoring, not reconciliation.
  • Compare Dashboard with the same date range and workspace when discussing performance.
  • Investigate unusual recent purchases in Sales immediately during launch.
  • Teach finance stakeholders to use reconcile Dashboard and Finance when numbers do not match.
  • Do not hide balance cards from finance users who need them unless privacy policy requires it.

Common mistakes

  • Treating Dashboard revenue as immediately withdrawable balance.
  • Ignoring declines because total sales still look positive.
  • Using Dashboard instead of Campaigns for UTM analysis.
  • Checking the wrong business workspace.
  • Assuming a quiet Dashboard means tracking is broken without checking missing data troubleshooting.

FAQ

Why does Dashboard not match Finance exactly?

Dashboard shows business activity. Finance reflects settlement timing, fees, refunds, chargebacks, and withdrawal history. Use reconcile Dashboard and Finance.

Why are my balances hidden?

Some users hide balances for privacy. Finance permissions and product access can also affect what each user can see.

Should I use Dashboard or Financial Overview after launch?

Use Dashboard for a quick pulse. Use Financial Overview when you need payment-method detail, refunds, chargebacks, UTM filters, or net revenue analysis.

Where do I investigate a buyer mentioned in recent purchases?

Open the purchase in Sales, then review customer history and delivery in buyer access troubleshooting if needed.
